"As first-time parents we really did not know what to expect when it came to pregnancy or labor and delivery. We began searching for a doula, after our first meeting with Jade my husband and I both agreed she was perfect. She was knowledgeable about pregnancy and birth, easy to talk to and so kind and calming. Jade created a birth plan with all our preferences and assured us that she would be able to advocate for us in the delivery room. We are so glad we found Jade. She exceeded our expectations for a doula and was there for us during pregnancy, labor/delivery and even in postpartum. Jade is very knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with you/ your partner, so you are both informed heading into delivery. When things did not go as planned during my pregnancy Jade was there to listen to my fears and help me make informed decisions. When I ultimately had to be induced due to complications Jade was there to help me labor and deliver. Her presence was so calming, and she was so encouraging during delivery. Jade was also able to advocate for what we wanted with the provider while we got to enjoy the first few moments with our daughter. It was so reassuring to know that there was someone else in the room that was advocating for our wants. After delivery and discharge Jade checked in on me and my new baby and listened to me and encouraged me as I started my motherhood journey. Jade helped me and my husband feel prepared and informed as we walked into labor and delivery. Jade has a compassionate heart that really makes her the perfect doula to help you on your birth journey."

"As a third time mom, I knew I wanted a different birthing experience than I had the first two times around. I began searching for a doula in my third trimester and after scouring every doula profile I could find, I began to feel discouraged because none of them "felt" right. During my search, Jade's profile came up and by the time I was done reading every inch of her website, I was in tears (pregnancy hormones) because I knew I had found exactly who I was looking for. 

I reached out to her and she scheduled me for a meet and greet right away. She sat and listened to my birthing stories from 15 and 13 years ago, as I shared how anxious I felt starting all over again. She never shied away from any of the difficult and straight forward questions I had for her and she was more than willing to share her vast knowledge of anything and everything she knew. After moving forward, she worked meticoulesly to build the perfect birthing plan for me and made sure I was comfortable with every part of it. She was truly a God send for my labor and delivery. She set up the perfect atmosphere, made sure the doctors and nurses were aware of every birthing plan request and stood her ground for me when things started getting intense. When we were faced with the very real possibility of an emergency c-section, I was so overwhelmed that I broke down and cried. Jade took no hesitation and prayed over me right then and there. After the birth, she sent me an album of the most beautiful labor and delivery pictures (non-graphic photos only) She was so discreet that I was not aware she had even captured all the moments she did, but they are pictures we will treasure forever. My husband was initially sceptical about a doula, he expected it to be awkward and we went into L&D with him not being thrilled with the idea. After we brought our baby home, he shared how down to earth Jade was and how thankful and impressed he was with her support. Her ability to stand firm in advocacy never wavered. Her support continued into post partum care and over all I am just so grateful for her. I walked away from this expierience with the firm belief that everyone should have a doula present at birth and that the doula should always be a Jade."

"Jade is amazing! With the first consultation I just loved her energy and felt very comfortable with her! She is very attentive and was so kind to always answer our many questions as first time parents! My boyfriend loved that she took the time and had a whole slideshow full of amazing information to share with us about birth and what to expect in either a birth center or hospital setting. When it came time to give birth, Jade was such a calming energy to have around and helped me feel confident in my decisions! My birth plan was completely altered when I had to be induced and Jade was there every step of the way to remind me of my options and talk them out with me. I would've had a completely different experience without her, having her knowledge and support meant the world to us! One of my favorite things she does is setting up the birth area in a comforting way, she brought lights and essential oils and even birth tools to the hospital for me and set it all up! She is truly a blessing to have and an added bonus was the photos she took of some very special moments!"

"Jade exceeded our expectations when we hired a doula. My husband and I are first time parents and we had not much knowledge about what actually happens during birth and labor. Jade spent a few sessions with us explaining what to expect with mom and baby during the labor and delivery. We had a lot more peace of mind after learning with her. Plus, she offered books and websites with details and studies for specific issues that I was going through during pregnancy. Having Jade present for the birth was great for me and my husband as well. Both my husband and I were very stressed about being in a hospital setting and about the birth itself but Jade provided a wonderful calming presence. She was always recommending ways to make me more comfortable. And she was great to have as a back up support when my husband needed moments to rest during my long labor.  What we appreciated the most was that she was constantly covering us in prayer. When parts of the delivery became scary for my son, she helped give me peace  when she prayed for him.

"I was very happy and grateful for Jade to be apart of my pregnancy journey. My husband and I felt very comfortable with her. She has a very calm spirit to her, which I loved. I knew she would be a great addition to my pregnancy support team. She provided great information when needed, and was a great listener to our needs & wants for my pregancy. Whenever I had a question or asked for her opinion, she gave honest feedback based on her experience as a mommy and professionally. She also provided spiritual support, and she was able to pray for us during my time in labor. She always had information for us to look over at every appointment. "Having a doula definitely made a difference. Jade not only helped with questions and a birth plan, but she made me feel comfortable by sharing her experience and knowledge so that I felt safe during my delivery. Since we first met, Jade was great support. She shared her knowledge and answered all my questions. When I texted her at 4:40am, after my water broke and we headed to the hospital, she was there as quick as possible. During delivery Jade oversaw everything, making sure it would happen the way we discussed. I remember when the nurse was moving some of the equipment and Jade saw that the nurse wasn’t paying enough attention to the IV.  Thankfully Jade intervened and told the nurse to stop before the IV was pulled out. Her prayers gave me strength during pain. My husband also found a great support with her by our side during the delivery, as we are first time parents. Jade also took pictures of the moment when I saw my daughter for the first time and John cutting the umbilical Cord.  These are such a special moments that we are able to keep in pictures and we loved! "I contacted Jade late into my pregnancy and was able to secure her as a doula for my November birth which just passed! We remained in contact for the weeks leading up to my due date and Jade was incredibly kind and wonderful through the whole process. Being my first pregnancy, it was hard to know what I wanted in my birth. Jade was absolutely wonderful in being a resource I could come to for understanding different birthing options, terminology, and birthing plan details. She helped me establish a solid birthing plan that I felt comfortable with and answered all my questions with as much information as possible without overwhelming me! She even stayed though my entire 36 hour labor and 90 minutes of pushing while still advocating for my desired birth plan. Jade truly is a wonderful person to have with you in your birthing team if you want someone who will advocate for what you want in a birth, educate you on any questions you have, and hold your leg while you’re pushing your little human out of you."
